The general objective of the Asma Fanni Observatory for Equal Opportunities and Women’s Citizenship is to develop specific tools to detect all political, economic, social and cultural discrimination against women and to promote concrete actions towards the achievement of equal opportunities. The Observatory will act as a democratic and social justice watchdog for women and will carry out several activities, including a sectoral survey on the application the legislation, meetings and debates, activities to raise women’s awareness of their rights, and the setting up of listening and job-seeking support desks.<\/p>\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

The direct beneficiaries of the project are women and the citizenship of women in situations of political or economic precarity. Therefore, women looking for work, unemployed graduates, women who have lost their jobs, women candidates for the next elections at different national, regional or local levels, women voters, governmental and municipal officials and women who are in decision-making positions are all targeted by the Asma Faani Observatory, which is located in Sfax and Tunis.
